Have a look at Oracle Linux which is a RHEL rebuild with some Oracle
enhancements (such as an optional custom kernel). Unlike the rest of
Oracle, there are no tricks (so far) and patches flow at regular
intervals. Oracle also make patches available for previous versions
   of Oracle Linux as well.

The most annoying thing about RHEL these days is that its supposed to
be an _Enterprise_ operating system which has traditionally meant
applications being able to maintain backwards compatibility with
previous versions. Yet, RedHat seem to change things around at will.

BTW, RHEL 10 appears to have completely dropped 32-bit application
support (this is different from RHEL itself having a 32-bit RHEL
version, which got dropped around RHEL 7).

If true, this means all your 32-bit legacy applications will stop
working on RHEL 10. Goodness knows what they were thinking when
   they did that.
