   Or even in-house staff. Much more convenient for enterprise-level   
   deployments, I would say. Look at how big outfits like Google/Alphabet,   
   Facebook/Meta, and even Microsoft, create their own distros. It’s not even   
   that hard to do.

   You see that all too often in this group and others, the mentality among   
   those more used to proprietary platforms (i.e. Microsoft) that one company   
   must totally dominate, therefore “Linux” must be synonymous with “Red   
   Hat”. It’s not, never has been, never will be.
