From: gerard.calliet@pia-sofer.fr              Hello,              We have got VMS/XDE (https://products.vmssoftware.com/vms-xde-beta). You       can develop VMS application on GNU/Linux.              (I learn receently the term, and I apologize for the rudness). WTF?              It seems being a very good technical effort. So perhaps some investment.       I cannot understand the (business) goal. But it seems investement is       possible - but not for bare metal :( -.              It seems to be funny to use. But I don't see for whom this effort is       done - apart hobbyies enthousiasts -.              Again, I'll rumble. Is it a real way to join the new generations of       developers, the Open Source world? With a non-opened packaged you get       free for n months, and which you have after that to buy?              I need more cleverness about all that. Please.              As usual, instructive things from Arnö :       (https://forum.vmssoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=9622&sid=a03       4371ebeaeaa5038908bfeb92b4da)              Gérard Calliet              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
