   I have just been learning about iSCSI myself. A client wants to set up a   
   storage server for his main XCP-ng hypervisors. I looked up whether it was   
   possible for the SAS interfaces to work in a “peripheral” mode when   
   connected to another machine as a host; seems the support for this in   
   Linux is limited at best. So the next option is to connect via iSCSI.
