   Not trying to overinterpret and I was not there hearing what   
   was said, but the slides say:   
      
   "Could not be compiled with DECC (code uses newer C language features)"   
      
   "Compile all C modules across the product using the clang compiler   
   (X86-only)"   
      
   "Currently planned for X86-64 only (due to lack of tools)"   
      
   which seems pretty clear to me.
