   I mean, I don't want to devolve this into politics but this is   
   not inaccurate.   
      
   I would ask that you bear in mind that a) the majority of people   
   did not vote for this fool (I certainly didn't).  b) the US is   
   highly political stratified at present; as much if not more so   
   than immediately prior to the American civil war.  c) we have   
   systemic problems rooted in our founding and dating to our   
   original sin (slavery, which gave rise to the electoral college)   
   that have never been addressed.  d) our opposition party is   
   completely ineffective, and we seem completely unable to even   
   begin to entertain the idea of a viable third party, perhaps due   
   to the intrinsic structure of our government.   
      
   There were some encouraging signs in the most recent elections,   
   but I'm not sure we can vote our way out of this at this point.   
   I strongly suspect a second American civil war will happen in my   
   lifetime.
