   It will run on Linux out of the box, as long as your machine and linux   
   distro meets some basic requirements listed in the release   
   notes/installation guide.   
      
   WSL is only needed it if you want to run it on Windows, which is not   
   available if you have a virtualised VMS installation!   
      
   It seems to work well on Linux - I have it running under Ubuntu 14.04
