   A programmer gets a fatal disease and has himself frozen, hoping for a   
   cure in the future.   
      
   One day he wakes up in a hospital operating room.   
      
     “Hello Mr smith,” says the doctor. “It’s the year 3000.”   
      
   “Wow!” says programmer Smith. “Have you cured my disease?”   
      
     “I’m sorry to say no, we haven’t.”   
      
   “Why did you wake me then?”   
      
   “Our billing system failed and you’re the only frozen person we could   
   find who knows COBOL.”
