   These threads are typically just *full* of misunderstandings   
   and malpractices, and I won't even begin listing them all.   
   For example, *that*, to the letter, is a recipe for *guaranteed   
   disaster*.  I know of a company that used to build robots like   
   that, just assume all inputs are valid by a protocol, and at the   
   first signal invalid by the protocol, the robots simply destroy   
   whatever is range...  or crash a plane or what have you...
