Without any further constraints this problem is
   absurdly easy.

If you let the reader choose the constraints, there
appears to be no reason to choose any constraints
that make the problem harder. On the contrary,
   imposing additional constraints seems artificial.

So please let us know what additional constraints
you have in mind. I daresay mind reading is not in
the skill set of anyone reading these postings.
