XPost: alt.comp.networking.ip6              HI all,              I have noticed some weird beaviour with the resolver of ping6.              If I type the following command:              dig AAAA azzmosphere.azzmos.com.au              I get back a valid IPv6 address              if I use ping6 to ping that address I get a valid response              but if I do the following:              ping6 azzmosphere.azzmos.com.au              I get the message "No address associated with nodename"              and when I "echo $?" it returns EPERM.              I am using       Darwin Kernel Version 8.11.1: Wed Oct 10 18:23:28 PDT 2007;       root:xnu-792.25.20~1/RELEASE_I386 i386 i386                     Anyone know what is going on here? I have look though the ping6 MAN       page and checked on web and it the syntax looks valid AFAIK.              --       ....       "When asked what he would like on his tomb stone he said more bass"              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
