   Yes you can forwared ports on your home router.

   You need to log-into your home router. Go to the port forwarding.   
   Forwared the port to the ip address of your computer. So if   
   192.168.1.104 is the ip address of the computer you want to work on   
   you need to forwared the port to that address.
