12ea32a2       From: spam@reppisch.de              Hi Ng,              i reworked the code to adopt the level-triggered epoll model.              The results are:       There is a performance gain in throughput (Requests/answers per second)       of about 1.33 .. 1.5 compared to the "select with wakeup-socket" pattern.       The latency problem remained allmost unchanged.       99% of the Traffic is handled within 5% of the maximum observed latency.        It's the 1 % that spoils it.                     Is there something similiar in Winsock to epoll?       Did anybody try the linux-aio package?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
