   One of the articles I read suggested that all the domains involved in   
   this case are registered through Verisign.   
      
   Many other registrars are very responsive to complaints of spamming and   
   malware, and will quickly suspend a domain.  Verisign, on the other   
   hand, is very conservative, generally waiting for a court order.  These   
   usually come from law enforcement, but what makes this case significant   
   is that the order came from a civil case.
