   It's not clear to me just what you're trying to learn.   
      
   There are plenty of firewalls and web proxies out there, you can install   
   one of them, configure it with the domains you want to block, and be   
   done with it.   
      
   Are you trying to learn how to implement one of these yourself?  Or are   
   you just curious how they work?
