From: IntoTheFuture@hotmail.com              Hello,              Some years ago I did a test with a large file transfer.              The udp packet size was something like 64000 bytes.              Everything seemed to be going nice... but after a while the packets did not       come through anymore.              I wondered what happened ?!?              Perhaps it was application problem... but I don't think so... perhaps it was       winsock problem.              Or perhaps the internet/routers have certain rules that if they are       "spammed" with many little 1500 or 500 packets from       larger udp packets that after a certain threshold they simply start to drop       packets ? :|              Hmm.. well maybe my app should get some icmp support to figure out what's       happening next time ;) :)              Bye,        Skybuck :)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
