   As far as I know, NAT is default on all such boxes.   
      
   I believe that my WRT54G has an option to choose between GATEWAY   
   and ROUTER (I think that is the terms they used.) but I haven't   
   tried it.   
      
   It might even be that some refuse to assign public IP addresses   
   to the LAN side.
