   udpOutErrors (netstat -Pudp -s) and ipOutDiscards (netstat -Pip -s)   
   might be worth a look.  Search the opensolaris kernel source for   
   ipIfStatsOutDiscards and udpOutErrors for the details of the conditions   
   they apply to.
