So there's a bill payment site I used recently, you had to fill in your "ID       no" or whatever, then select the amounts with checkboxes when they showed up,       then it showed a message saying "Pay by netbanking" etc., then OK, then,       presumably payment. Well,        after "OK", it's giving some weird error. That was on the BRAVE browser -       which has some "ad tracker/blocker"-type stuff in it. After that, at my wit's       end, I just *happened* to try the site on Firefox, and it worked fine!! BOTH       browsers had Private        Browsing enabled, but Firefox, AFAIK, doesn't have this "ad blocking" stuff       there. I'd like to know wtf is going on? What is this "ad blocker" stuff (I'm       certain that's the culprit, if not, I'd love to know what), and how come it       differs from browser and        browser, and is indeed BREAKING a site on one?                     Thanks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
