(Paul from alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt)              After close inspection of the laptop and especially the connector I realize       what happened.              I think while I was trying to push/pop this connector out I pushed back one of       the metal pins.              It's now probably causing a short circuit of some kind which causes the       adapter to beep rapidly.              I made a video about it so you can see for yourself:              https://youtu.be/FmTdumrbHL0              Let me know what you think ?              I am pretty sure that metal pin is bent and needs to be bent back... if I fail       to do that this connector will have to be replaced and I am not sure how to do       that, pretty crazy to think that this little connector ruins a 1000 euro       costing laptop ! ;)              Bye for now,        Skybuck =D              P.S.: I will post some more/longer videos later on, one is kinda funny where a       tiny little cut fly visits me lol, the universe ! =D But for now this short       one to sum this up quickly ! ;)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
