   I get the feeling some of the stuff in Debian still relies on sysvinit   
   scripts, even if the main OS has moved to systemd.   
      
   I'm using bullseye (Debian 11 RC) on my main PC, having used buster for   
   years before that.   
      
   wheezy is Debian 7. That would suggest these are very old scripts.   
      
   I suppose I could try to kitbash something when I have the time and   
   motivation, but honestly, I've just been using MAME. (Oy. Don't try   
   rolling modern MAME with less than 8 GB RAM, and if that's all you got,   
   you're in for a bad time.)
