From: thefadden@gmail.com              I was curious about how they did the first-person view on the hi-res screen.        The answer was somewhat unexpected: they drew it with character glyphs and a       few horizontal lines.              The game was written for the TRS-80 and ported to the Apple II, apparently by       someone who was not an expert in either 6502 or Apple II programming. It       gets... interesting... in spots.              A full disassembly, as well as a complete walkthrough of the game, can be       found here:       https://6502disassembly.com/a2-deathmaze/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
