   There's nothing wrong with offering a solution to a problem.  I quite happy he

   I gave up on reporting those messages to Google after a while.  They seemed to   
   stop for a bit over the summer but now they're back in force.  I guess I'll   
   just have to migrate over to Mac GUI then as the google groups version is   
   quickly becoming unusable.   
        
      
   I assume that these are just spam bots targeting every usenet forum and   
   they're not targeting the Apple II forum specifically.  I wonder if all the   
   remaining usenet groups will have a similar problem?
