|    Odell Lake - ripping off some routines?    |
|    25 Apr 22 08:27:33    |
From: usotsuki@buric.co              Several years ago, I ripped the sound - and I don't know how well I did       it, but it does work - from Odell Lake.              https://6.buric.co/odellsnd.dsk.gz              I guess since the sound library sits at 7D00..7FFF (more or less, less       more, more less) currently, that's probably a safe location.              I'm wondering if the necessary animations (at least, any necessary at any       given time) could be fit into conventional memory, such that it might be       possible to rewrite the game to fit in 48K instead of requiring 64...              There is an earlier version of Odell Lake that does in fact fit in 48K but       not only are the animations cruder and there is no sound, it only has the       Go Exploring part, not the Play for Points. I'd want to implement the       whole thing.              -uso.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
