   I don't like this very much, because the size of the FILES is not the same   
   as the space they occupy on a certain partition or filesystem. Your   
   proposition means that the exact same selection of files will be displayed   
   with different size on different partitions - not very logical to me.   
      
   Also, if you attempt to copy 10000 files with a total size of 97Mb from a   
   partition with 16kb clusters to a partition with 1Kb clusters and 100Mb   
   free, you're not allowed to do this because your way of calculating the   
   size of the files on the 16kb-cluster partition indicates a total size of   
   105Mb...
