   He had a point here and I accept his argument. As I said, I did not intend   
   to forbid copying but only to issue a warning, but there is no use in   
   making that warning because very often it would not be appropriate.

   But the problem appared in the first place because, with increasing   
   partition sizes, it becomes difficult to give a sum of filelengths.   
   When a folder (or a partition) content is more than 4 GB one would   
   have to resort to the extravaganza of 48-bit (or 64-bit?) arithmetics.   
   When doing calculation based on cluster count the problem would   
   be deferred at least to capacities of several TB.
