   What do you mean when you say "installing MiNT on a partition over P"? As   
   other have said, MiNT is started from TOS, and TOS does not recognise   
   partitions beyond P:. So your BOOT-partition must be between A: and P:.   
   This means that mint.prg and the mint-folder must be on your   
   boot-partition.   
      
   However, nothing prevents you from installing the rest of the system on a   
   partition beyond P:.
