   I used to type in a program something like this (C128 version)

   10 SCNCLR
   20 PRINT "TYPE YOUR NAME AND PRESS RETURN"
   30 INPUT A$
   40 PRINT A$+" ";
   50 GOTO 40

   The fun was in lurking nearby to watch as someone fell for the bait. First
   they would stare in awe as their name filled the screen. Most had no idea
   how to stop the programs endless loop. Then as their name continued to
   scroll all over the screen, many would become nervous, thinking they had
   broken the computer.

   Some would sneak away as if trying to escape before their blunder was
   discovered. An occasional honest soul would ask the clerk if they would have
   to pay for the computer they had just broken.

   Some of the clerks were wise to me, and would grin at the customer, then
   point at me and tell the customer, "I saw him playing with the computer just
   before you came along. I think he may have done it!"

   Computers were more fun back then. ;-)
