|    Changing HD on STACY    |
|    13 Jun 09 11:24:08    |
From: houten.van@orange.fr              Hello,              I have open (at last!) my STACY and wanted to change the HD.       I have a SCSI 160MB that runs well on the TT.       I put it into the STACY and get a strange problem :              when powered on, it signals a short-circuit! (is it the right word? I       mean that electricity is connected from + to -) and the alimentation       makes a caracteristical noise.       If I just unplug the power cord of the new HD, it's ok.              But this HD worked few minutes before!!!              On the main board I can read +5V, gnd, gnd, +12V and the four wires are       correctly directed to the same pins on the hard drive...              HELP !!!              Guillaume.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
