I have a PCI-card with a compatible chip somewhere which someday may
make it into my Milan. My brief studies of USB suggests that only a
small part of an USB solution will be hardware dependant. An USB stack
with loadable hardware drivers will make it easy to support new hardware
as long as documentation is available.

If you use a Hades/Milan-compatible PCIBIOS in CTPCI any driver should
in theory be binary compatible. That would be easy to test using
FreeMiNT and one of the PCI LAN-drivers :-)
