     Cart port on Falcon is basically same, "compatible". But it can not   
   be 100% compatible - Falcon has different CPU.   
    Then, it is tacted faster.  If setting Falcon to 8MHz, STE mode helps   
   not, then it is SW incompat. problem very likely, and you can not do   
   much (except making working SW self :-)   ).   
      
   ok, the version of TouchUp that I have was especially made for use   
   on the Falcon. So I think it is sometype of hardware bug or problem.   
   I remember a hardware fix was suppose to be done, but never found   
   out if it ever came to be.   
   The Software works fine, except when it comes to Scanning, then you   
   get messed up scan. Have tried 2 different hand scanners and get same   
   result.   
      
      
     Btw., to add to cartridge device list:  I made EPROM programmer for   
   ST cartridge port in 1987. I still have it, but not use, as made later   
   better one, for parallel port.
