   Well if you like electricity, then it was bad here.  We didn't have any   
   electricity for around a week.   
   I had backup oil heaters, candles, and 2 fire places in the old place just   
   in case things didn't get better   
   with the electricity.  I generally prepare for the worst.  We spent our time   
   listening to the radio, writing,   
   reading books, and drawing by candle light.   
   I'm getting a good home generator asap. Been meaning to get one, I have one   
   for the wagon.   
   but our winters have been rather mild over the last dozen years or so. I've   
   not seen so much excitement over snow   
   since I was a young boy.  Back then we prayed for such days, no school, and   
   riding sleds, life was much simpler   
   in those days.   
      
   We were warm, together, and safe. And the candles were nice too!
