   Hi,   
   well i never tried CD-ROM but it seems to work. I have to try it ;-)   
   HD works well, since it is a 3"1/2 version, you'll have to use an adaptater if   
   you want to connect a 2"1/2 hard drive. But it has been tested and works very   
   well ;-)
