And I am aware that there was an app that allowed UK users to force switch 60
Hz programs to run in 50 Hz. Are there any apps that will do just the
   opposite so that UK
software can run on a NTSC system?

tried to create a 60 Hz boot disk with it the ST returns that the disk is not
usable until I format it again. When I do that the boot disk I tried to
   create is gone.

Thank you. Is there a button I have to press once a game is loaded to switch
   hertz?
