   I agree about Mars. It's much much further away and basically   
   as inhospitable as the Moon. Musk's an idiot.   
      
   But the Moon is an important resting place in Earth's gravity   
   well. And other nations (China, India) will take advantage of   
   that.   
      
   There might also be resources to extract and ship back to Earth.   
      
   It might be a safe place for a lotta nuclear reactors,   
   with their power beamed back to Earth.   
      
   Really lastly, no way we will solve all problems on Earth.   
   Too many mstherfsckers live here.
