Your “example” wasn’t really an example so much as a broad swipe at
   anyone
you’ve decided is lazy, which isn’t an argument. And tossing in “Apple
   fanboi”
doesn’t make the point any stronger.

The idea that “anyone who works can live a decent life” just doesn’t
   match
current economic data. Wages at the bottom haven’t kept pace with housing,
medical costs, childcare, or transportation for decades. Plenty of people work
full time and still struggle. Pointing that out isn’t “unreasonable” —
   it’s
   basic reality.

If you want to talk policy or economics, great. But pretending that structural
issues don’t exist, and that anyone struggling is just lazy, doesn’t get us
any closer to an honest discussion.
