   They might have one soldered RAM stick, but they usually have a second   
   one available to upgrades. That's how the Zephyrus line is now. They've   
   unfortunately decided to follow the Apple example and solder things.   
   Otherwise, the ridiculously thin machines might solder, but not every   
   manufacturer does.
