I've said it before but I actually had an Apple MacBook Air M1 I got for a
ridiculously low price in 2023. I bought it almost by accident on eBay
while this machine was in the shop. Honestly, I loved it. The battery life
was superb, the screen was nice and the keyboard and touchpad felt great.
It was pretty bad for screen sharing in class, but that was because I
liked to use it mirrored and the screens we have in class max out at
1080p. However, once I learned about how it would commit suicide once I
reached my TBW, it just had to go. Honestly, I never even _thought_ of a
driver's TBW before learning about Macs commit suicide once theirs is
reached. After all, if a component fails on a PC, I always have the option
to replace it. Removing that possibility meant that even a machine I liked
a lot had to be sold.

Nevertheless, I wish I hadn't sold it for as cheap as I did. It was $500
CDN and I got a low ball offer that I accepted. Had I known that eBay
would go on to charge me seller fees too, I would have just held on to it.
The buyer was also dishonest and "wanted to return it" in the hope that I
would offer him a refund without him needing to send me back my machine.
Instead, he opted for a further refund of like $25 because of a dent he
found. In other words, the whole sale was a complete waste of my time and
money. These things still sell for way more than that on eBay presumably
because people are unaware that they're ticking time bombs.

Much like with Shit proper, Anal Shit should be a permanent part of
   everyone's filter.
