   I hate to say this, but I usually blast past much of this because I'm an   
   Atari guy (last Atari BBS on Fido) and you're... well... COMMIES!   
      
   For some of us, the war will never be behind us.   
      
   Ok, I'm just kidding... Just wanted to throw it out there that with   
   BBSing, Lantronix boxes are a great solution.  They act as modems but   
   work over telnet.  The old retro computer doesn't know it's not talking   
   to a modem.  ATDT bbs.sfhqbbs.org:5983 "dials" my BBS.   
      
   If you want to use a real modem to call a telnet BBS... there is a sevice   
   that handles that, but I alas don't remember it right now since I plan to   
   do that myself for my BBS.....
