Hi All,              There are dozens of websites, forums and Facebook pages for the purpose of       exploring the technical bits of Commodore. And really, there should be.        Commodore was a tech company for part of its history. There are also dozens       of Commodore fan pages and        that's also a wonderful thing.              I have no desire to add to that or replace what's already out there. What I       am hoping to achieve is to focus on the historical side of the company.        Probably every day, somewhere in the world an attic is cleaned out and an old       Commodore brochure is        thrown away, or the instruction booklet for a Commodore game, or an old       Commodore advertisement. Or maybe someone worked for Commodore and they have       old company memos laying around. I wanted to set up an easy way for folks to       share those items instead        of just throwing them in the garbage. Also, I wanted people who grew up with       Commodore but maybe aren't still fans to have a place where they can go to       reminisce.              If you have a moment, please check out the Facebook group I started a few       weeks ago. If you'd like to join, please do so. I'll be happy to have you.        I would also really appreciate it if you have scans, pictures or stories you'd       like to share with        everyone else. The group is tiny at the moment, but I'm hoping you can help       it to grow.              The group can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1985860541658665/              I hope to see some/all of you there.              Thanks!              Dave              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
