   It works!   
   You can combine:   
   - X-Pander 3   
   - Datel MIDI interface   
   - Ultimate 1541 - II+   
      
   For the Datel, set the DIP switches ON for IO1, IO2, and both POWER. All   
   others OFF.   
   For the Ultimate:   
   - set the DIPs to all on   
   - disable any cartridge emulation   
   - disable RAM expansion unit   
   - in Audio config, don't have any SIDs in $DE00 to $DFFF
