   That's my number one complaint about Yahoo Groups in general.  I know   
   it's possible to make an "anyone can read it" group because I came   
   across one recently.  Maybe it's a default, but it's a silly one most of   
   the time.   
      
   I could understand if the topic was such that personal information would   
   commonly be discussed in the group (like some sort of emotional support   
   group), but not for technical groups.
