When the TRS-80 appeared on the scene, a mob in the tourist ghetto of
Cairns in north Queensland, Australia, set up a very good business
flogging systems to other local businesses. [I should mention that
Cairns had real people in those days and was only on the verge of
   becoming a tourist ghetto.]

They had a very successful "school" where they taught customers who
bought systems to use the things (ISTR they moved on to the Model II
fairly early) and won several awards for innovative marketing of Tandy
   products in Oz.

When the new PCs hit the streets, they started to lose share. The
owner once remarked to me that if only there was a CTRL O to sort
stuff in the new systems they would be great to use! (I may have that
screwed, but I'm pretty sure it was CTRL O they were on about -- it
wasn't something I had used in Tandy BASIC, so I could be wrong.)
