   Which probably was my statement about both TRS-80 Level 2 BASIC and   
   GWBASIC was made by MS.   
      
   The TRS-80 Level 1 was made by Tandy (I think, I checked my sources and   
   found very few references) famous for its error messages (only WHAT?,   
   HOW? and SORRY).

   I wonder why Applesoft isn't more similar, but it is probably the   
   backwards compatibility in both cases.   
      
   Applesoft is supposed to be based on Commodore PET's basic (also made by   
   MS).
