|    Tandy 5000MC emerges from shadows    |

From: ohland@charter.net               I got the 5000MC technical Reference from M.A.D. Software down in       Texas. I was surprised, PCB artwork included as well.              http://www.gilanet.com/ohlandl/tandy/Tandy_5000mc.html               There is some confusion in my mind on what the logic is for most of       the jumpers used for setting memory. They hook up to RAS and CAS ports.              Outlines and chip IDs done for planar, CPU, and memory boards. I do NOT       have the refdisk yet. The seller of the tech ref used to develop for the       5000MC, and he might have the image somewhere. He's looking.              I have some detail on S2, which sets 2 or 8MB board, LIM, 256/1M.              Now all we need is the refdisk to become dangerous.              Serial port is limited to 19.2K, the DMA control lines to the NS16550A       were not connected. Video mem is 256K, max colors is 256.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
