   You can check the BIOS to see if 5.25" drives are even in there.  I know   
   they are not in my newer computers.  That's why I keep my trusty ASUS based   
   P3 computer. It can read and write single and double density (though not the   
   DAMs for the SD Model I disks, of course).  I have both 3.5" and 5.25"   
   drives in it, with a couple of spares in a closet.   
      
   If you need help, I can write a disk for you if you cover the postage and   
   mailer.
