   No, the Genie just double spaced the letters horizontally in the s/w   
   switchable 32 char mode.   
      
   It did, however have a hardware switch on the keyboard (f1?) which   
   doubled the displayed width.  Switching the adjacent "Page" button on or   
   off selected which half of the doubled width screen would be displayed.
