Any way of getting a dump of the disks?              I'm working on a method to transfer them to a PC. The problem is that there       is no hardware interface (like rs-232 card) and disk image software, so I       need to start from scratch.       But, if they are trs80 compatible as it seems now, then there is software       and hw to do it.       Anyway, I just purchased a Catweasel interface to try to read them on Pc.       Instead, I already have all rom dumps and disassembled listings.       Unfortunately I haven't a real trs-80 to try them on it, but I should get a       newdos disk from a friend shortly to make a few more tests.              Also I would like to make a web site about that computer, but I never was       able to get some sort of permissions from the original magazine editor to       scan their schematics and put them online (the magazine is still active):       they simply doesn't answer to my emails. Due to the fact that they are still       alive, I'm a bit concerned about copyrights and I'm not sure how to proceed       (read: if to do it anyway, or not).              More in the next days... ;-)              Roberto              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
