   FWIW, in the training centre I worked at many years ago, we used to make   
   multi-head printer cables to suit all of the computers so there was no   
   hassle finding the "right" cable. At least one was a DB25, and all were   
   parallel. IIRC there were 4 connecters at the computer end of the flat   
   ribbon and a 34 pin centronics at the other ;-)   
      
   And the Tandy 1000A (at least) used a 34 way card edge connector (I think ;-)
