   I'm not familiar with this modem but I would think that if it's an   
   external modem it would work well, no problem. There are several choises   
   for comm software, I don't know if any of them "knows" the at command   
   set. I find the comm software from that time (TRS-80 era) quite awkward.   
   I used a pc with telix in the BBS days here (somewhat later than UK/US etc.)
